The bad news - he still trails by 10 points (54-44) in the Daily Kos/Research 2000 poll.

Daily Kos - McDonnell up 7
A gubernatorial debate and two polls in 24 hours. How about some overload?
Research 2000/Daily Kos offers its latest poll, with Bob McDonnell at 50 percent and Creigh Deeds at 43.
They polled 600 likely voters, with a party breakdown of 39 percent Democratic and 34 percent Republican.
