They're two words Bob McDonnell uses in nearly every campaign stop: card check. The Republican gubernatorial nominee says the federal union bill is a job-killer.
"My opponents, I think, are going to be on the other side of that issue," McDonnell said.
"Card check" is what opponents call the Employee Free Choice Act -- a bill in Congress that makes it easier for people to organize into unions.
McDonnell says the legislation would hurt Virginia businesses.
"I'm going to be a vigorous defender of the right to work law," said McDonnell.
