The Greene County Sheriff's Office and many in the community continue to mourn the loss of Investigator Chad Carr.
Those who knew him say he was a hard worker who took his job very seriously, both as a law enforcement officer and a father.
Flags were flown half staff in front of the Greene County Sheriff's Office. Both local and state police were wearing black bands around their badges in honor of 31-year-old Carr who lost his life in a traffic crash involving a tractor trailer. See the story here
